Grow your own cottage garden from seed with this easy to use seed kit.  This Cottage Garden flower collection is perfect for creating a classic relaxed planting scheme. These flowers are great for attracting butterflies and bees which are so beneficial for our gardens.

They will bloom from April to October which provides colour for the majority of the year. Just add some evergreen shrubs and seasonal bulbs and voila one beautiful garden with year round interest.

Plant Information:

Cosmos flowers from June-October (or first frosts) and grows to around 60cm tall. Annual flower.

Nicotiana – commonly known as the tobacco plant due to its leaf shape. grows to around 60cm tall, with white scented flowers which are loved by pollinators.  Ideal for the middle of the border. Annual flower

Forget-Me-Not – flowers from April-June. Height of 30cm, and looks fabulous with tulips in a pot. Alternatively sow directly in the front of a border or woodland edge. Will self seed = free seed for the following year!

Zinnia – these have beautiful vibrant daisy type flowers which bloom from July to October and grows to around 75cm tall. Can be used as a cut flower.

Verbena bonariensis – flowers from June to October and grows to 120cm+ and is ideal for the back of a border as it has lovely slender stems with a purple ‘bobble’ type flower. Perennial flower.
