1 packet of tomato seeds – Garden Pearl variety (cherry) with growing instructions on the back of the packet

3 coir disks to sow seeds straight away – no need for pots or trays at this stage because the disks are surrounded with a compostible ‘netting’ around them (as per the photo). This means when the seedlings are large enough, they can be potted on without any root disturbance.

Sow indoors January to April. Sow outdoors: April-May. Harvest: June-October. The seeds can be sown into a growbag and pots or into raised beds and allotments.
