Do you love cooking with fresh herbs? Do you want to grow your own herb garden at home? If so, you’ll love the Cooks Herb Garden kit! Whether you want to add some flavour to your pasta, tea or salad, you’ll always have fresh herbs at your fingertips with this ‘Grow Your Own’ kit.

This kit includes everything you need to grow basil, mint and thyme on your windowsill.

• A tray which includes three pots
• Three packets of seeds – Basil, Mint and Thyme (with sowing instructions on the back of each packet)
• Compost pellets to sow your seeds into, to help you get started straight away

The pots are sage green colour and are made from bamboo terrazzo and measures (with tray) 23cm x 7.5cm, height 7.5cm. They are made from recycled agricultural waste, they’re also vegan friendly, long-lasting and frost resistant.

The seeds are supplied by Mr Fothergills, who are one of the largest seed merchants in the UK. All seeds are supplied in foil sachets. Sowing and growing instructions are on the back of each packet.

Thyme – sow indoors February to May and harvest in March to November. This is an evergreen perennial and may die down during the winter, but you should be able to harvest all year round.

Basil – sow indoors all year round, harvest all year round.

Mint – sow indoors March-May and harvest April to November. This is a perennial and will die down in the winter and regrow the following spring. It’s best to keep this in it’s own pot as it has a tendency to take over your garden border.
